Next to the pastry shop we find a large kitchen owned by the Zizzola family. It's a sign that this café and pastry shop, led by Stefano, Barbara and their children Angela and Riccardo, is looking to the future, towards innovation and experimentation. The shop itself also demonstrates the fact: a procession of cakes, single-serving treats, mini pastries, macarons, baked goods and breakfast yeasts arranged in glass cases and on the shelves expresses a distinct and personal style. Attention to detail is the trademark of every creation, but it's a quality that goes beyond pure aesthetics (given their gustatory balance and delicacy), like the venetian with jam or cream, exemplary of lightness, or their special, airy and fragrant, brightly-colored croissants (pistachio, raspberry). Those who stop in are spoiled for choice: éclairs, ingots and special selections (macarons, mini pastries, pralines, biscuits) can all be enjoyed with coffee. An interesting note is their desserts by the plate, including the Cuore di Velluto (milk chantilly with hazelnut cream and a soft hazelnut meringue base) or Zlab tiramisu (with light mascarpone cream, soft chocolate biscuit and coffee). Classic holiday specialties are in the Zizzola family's DNA, and you can feel it. Majolica floor tiles and large windows mean that there are pleasant dining areas both indoors and outdoors. Friendly and helpful service.
