We visited Marco Caputo's restaurant, who is one of the most virtuous ambassadors of Neapolitan pizza in the city. After testing many Boston pizza places, we believe Mast' offers the most authentic in terms of flavour. We highly recommend the provola e pepe pizza and the appetising panuozzo. The dough is highly hydrated and baked at 900°C in an ad hoc oven, baking is homogeneous. Fabio proved to be one of the most talented pizza makers we met during our stay. He also validates the wide range of traditional dishes, starting from the classic fried cartoccio, to a generous portion of lasagna or a rich eggplant parmigiana. Italian atmosphere, lively and easy going.
The best pizzerias are marked with 1,2,3 'spicchi' according to their quality grades.
