Macchialina

Finally some fresh air in South Beach. We were impressed by the original selection of the wine list at Macchialia. There selection displays a huge level of research and identity featuring so many boutique Italian artisans, food-friendly wines, less famous but worthy wine terroirs. A very well done job by the Pirolo family. Macchialina fully deserves our Villa Sandi Best Contemporary Wine List Award. Next to such a brilliant cantina there’s an Italian rustic style of cucina, from a tasty gnocco fritto to home made pasta with a little north-american twist. Macchialina it’s perfect place for a proper bottle.
