Gourmet restaurant Le Cementine is situated in H-FARM, the largest technology campus in Europe. The Alajmo family manage the kitchen, while young Mattia Ercolino, their apprentice and pupil, oversees the staff. Michela Gobbo, who arrived here after the opening of Sesamo in Marrakech (another of the Alajmo family's projects), expertly coordinates the dining room and wine cellar. The space is characterized by a lovely, colored tile floor (cementine tiles) and glass walls that allow guests to admire the garden just outside. The food combines excellent ingredients with touches of personality and unusual, but always convincing, combinations, like risotto with seaweed and scallops. Their extensive wine list is international in scope. Last September, not far off (and inside the campus), the Alajmo brothers launched Amor, an eatery where students can enjoy simple foods, from pizza to burgers, hot dogs and focaccia, all with a focus on lightness and the authenticity of ingredients.
