Emporio Borsari

A pastry shop, café, ice cream parlor, bakery, cocktail bar and bistro all in a beautiful, bright space, recently enlarged and renovated. And to boot, there's a large garden and various rooms for relaxing inside. The Borsari group hit the bullseye with this multifaceted venue, based on craftsmanship and quality ingredients. There's a nice variety from morning to evening, from a lovely range of Italian croissants and copious baked breakfast goods to their elegant, modern cakes, which will win you over for their combinations, linear shapes and shimmering glazes. The cocoa sbrisolona with strawberry jam is among their specialties (definitely worth trying), as is tiramisu, the Red Velvet and meringue with strawberries. Then there are their delicious mini pastries and tartlets, including bavarois in various flavors. Attention to detail is the common thread that binds everything together: in addition to various chocolate sweets, biscuits, fresh and "sub-zero" sweets, there are daily specials for a snack or lunch break (pizzas, focaccias, fresh bowls, express pasta dishes and main courses, all accompanied by house bread prepared with sourdough starter). Cocktails, wines, beers and pleasant soft drinks are also available. Great care is dedicated to the Italian holiday classics, especially their excellent panettone, which has received awards in major competitions. Courtesy is a given.
