Thanks to the competence and professionalism of Ernesto Milani (also a talented chocolatier), the delights created in the house pastry kitchen are truly delicious. His skill is reflected in the high quality of their sweets, with nicely varied and well made morning viennoiserie (the house breakfast pastries are famous throughout Rovigo), mini pastries, ventaglietti, tarts and cakes all lighting up the display case. There's no shortage of macarons, fruit jellies and pralines (even nougat during the Christmas period), biscuits made with alternative flours (from chickpea to kamut) and naturally leavened holiday sweets during the season. The coffee (100% Arabica) is also excellent, intense and fragrant. They also do well with savory baked goods, including puff pastry pizzas and stuffed mini-croissants. Bread is also baked.
