For 51 years now, the Ceccon family have managed this solid pastry shop, grounded in regional artisan pastry and dedicated to sweets. Here you won't find a Venetian specialty that isn't prepared with skill and proposed with meticulous care. There's no traditional recipe that isn't carried out to the letter in their kitchen. This is why their zaeti, brutti ma buoni and Venetian focaccia have a completely different flavor. In addition to local specialties, their assortment of sweets also touches on national and international classics: delicious tenerina cakes, tarts with a crumbly base and silky cream, creamy citrus cheesecake and elegant millefeuille (a house specialty) topped with majestic veils of dark chocolate. Their mousse, contemporary in style, is very well made, especially the Sicilian pistachio and white chocolate version. Their apricot donuts are irresistible, as are the krumiri with hazelnut flour and the maritozzi with cream (their breakfast pastries and coffee also deserve a taste). If you're looking for something savory, you can enjoy super, homemade sandwiches (tramezzini and panini) prepared with wholemeal flour and sourdough starter.
