Al Pescatore

The motto here is that whoever stops and decides to have lunch or dinner at Al Pescatore has chosen ... the lake. And it's the lake, or rather the daily catch (no longer the flourishing catches of the past, but still very much present on the menu) and the market that decide the dishes, which revolve around trout, sardines and whitefish, the basis for pasta sauces, roasts and fish skewers. Garda extra virgin olive oil is served along with wines from the vineyards that surround the lake shores (Lombardy, Veneto or Trentino, given that the lake is a meeting point of multiple regions). The service is friendly and knowledgeable.
