Mortadella Nazionale with Bronte DOP pistachios is made from cuts of heavy Italian pork. Cooking times vary depending on the size of the product. The pieces weigh 15 kg in natural casings or 50 or 100 kg in synthetic casings. La Valle Mortadella is traditional in all its expressions. It has a compact, soft and juicy texture, with lard, generous pistachios and peppercorns. The aroma and flavour are typical of spices that are not overpowering and blend well with the high-quality pork. The taste is also well-balanced, very flavourful but without being excessive.
