The Montella chestnut, recently vaunting its own museum, is a PGI product that Lorenzo Vestuto’s Irpinia company processes using entirely artisanal methods, from gauging to selection, peeling and candying. We then find delicious marrons glacés, in jars and individually wrapped in elegant gift boxes. But this is not the only delight Vestuto has to offer, because there are also creams in classic, cocoa and dark chocolate flavours; marroncini chocolates, and flour. The range closes with candied fruits and jams made with organic oranges; strawberries; and apricots.
