Founded way back in 1888, Scarpato are proud of their panettoni Christmas cakes, colombe Easter cakes, and baked sweets, all leavened naturally over three days so as to guarantee a light, easy to digest treat. In addition to the classics, there are unique varieties like ricotta and citrus fruit, ‘cioccococco’, cherry and Chantilly cream, strawberries and Champagne, coffee with anise, pineapple, pistachio, pumpkin and amaretto, marron glacé, citrus fruit, whole wheat with honey, and even varieties for vegans, diabetics and those with lactose intolerance.
