Virgilio Sapori opened his Siena business in 1832, producing panforte in a small bakery. Almost two centuries have passed since the opening of that workshop, two hundred years characterized by constant renewal that has kept alive ancient Tuscan confectionery traditions. Alongside the famous festive specialities like panforte, ricciarelli, cavallucci, and cantuccini, also fragrant new haute patisserie to be served every day. Sapori di Siena today is still a confectionery brand expressing its message of quality, refinement and careful selection of raw materials, able to satisfy fully the tastes and demands of the whole family, for every special moment. In 2004 the company became part of the Colussi group.
