Riso della Sardegna, founded in 1951, is the first rice producer of its kind in Sardinia. Over three generations the Putzu family has guaranteed a high-quality product thanks in part to the care taken when choosing rice grains. Rice is harvested in October and only made available to consumers after careful cleaning and processing. Their selection is wide-ranging, from organic rice to basmati, carnaroli, venere, rice snacks, risotto mixes and even an array of minestras and legumes (both Sardinian and non-native varieties).
