Back in 1975 Don Gaetano Liguori obtained permission from the municipal council to make and sell good quality macaroni. Since then, Pastificio Liguori has handed down its old tradition. Don Gaetano’s descendants include Vincenzo Liguori who created the company that exists today, in 1820. The best blends of Italian durum wheat, Gragnano spring water, bronze drawing equipment and the skill of master pasta makers, low temperature drying: these are the main ingredients of Liguori pasta, long, short or special, like the famous paccheri, candele and mafaldine.
