Thomas Kohl has proved that apples will grow at over 900 metres in altitude. Just two decades ago no one took him seriously but his project worked out so well that he has converted his farm entirely to fruit, producing six monovarietal natural mountain apple juices, as well as several versions combining apple with other fruits. His delicious Gran Cru are super vintages that express all the goodness of Ananasrenette and Wintercalville cultivars, whose juice goes into glass, including a magnum size.
