Fabbriche Riunite Torrone di Benevento

Le Fabbriche was founded in 1908 by an association of small, local torrone producers, and in 1955 the business was taken over by a Mario Rosa. Today they offer a wide range of specialty foods, including cakes for special occasions (chocolate Easter eggs, almond paste sweets, mostaccioli, tozzole and Christmas roccocò), fresh pastries and dry baked goods (taralli, treccine etc.). But their flagship product is still the torrone, and this Italian nougat comes in a variety of forms and flavors: soft, crumbly, with almond, hazelnut, covered in chocolate and with sponge cake (Bontorrone).
