Pan dell’Orso, which is available in different shapes and varieties, gets its name from the bread carried by shepherds in times when bears were still a common sight in the area. The Di Masso family, whose experience goes back generations, also make biscotti, sweets that are common to the area of Abruzzo (amaretti, ferratelle, mostacciuoli), pandolciotto, focaccia ‘di nonna Angela’ and traditional Easter cakes (colomba pasquale)
