Since 1951 the Turri family have cultivated olives. Today Mario, Laura, Luisa and Giovanni, the third generation, grow more than 27 types of olives common to Garda and Veneto, and olives from other parts of Italy as well. They also have an old wooden press and a more modern facility where their crop is transformed into oil shortly after it is harvested. Six types of oils are produced, each one with its own specific characteristics, including the fruity Garda Orientale PDO (which has gained notable national recognition) and an organic line. There are also aromatized oils, olives, delicious bottled produce, vinegars and a line of cosmetics made with olive oil. Visits and tasting events can be organized year-round.
