The Cooperativa Agricola Olivicoltori Valle del Cedrino was founded in 1999 by nine members on a mission to produce quality EVO. The cooperative thus managed to save an ancient olive grove estate, an integral part of a unique habitat. The cooperative is named after the valley where it is located, an area starting on rough, wild mountainsides and meandering towards the sea. In this setting, the River Cedrino plays a key role in the local microclimate. The cooperative has about 50 hectares of olive groves of which 90% are given over to the bosana cultivar.
