One of Catania's top operations was the brainchild of Barone Emanuele Scammacca del Murgo, who set it up. The history of this farm has always been linked to wine production even though the EVO gives equally satisfying results. Today, the olive grove vaunts about 5,000 nocellara etnea trees, covering 18 hectares of land. In addition to oil and wine, the business also produces jams, pâtés and honey, and welcomes guests to its farmhouse accommodation of 15 comfortable rooms.
