Eugenio Bonavoglia has been managing this distinguished farm, producing "green gold", since 2000, but the small plot of land where he operates has been home to olive cultivation since the 13th-14th centuries, when it was introduced by Benedictine monks. The property spans 42 hectares, 24 of which are olive groves, about 4,500 trees in all.
