OLIVE OIL PRODUCER
Frantolio Acri was founded in 1952 and today is run by Giovanni, now the third generation of the Acri family. The groves are located in real olive country, on the Sibari plain. Of the estate’s 11 hectares, seven are now organically farmed, with olives harvested from the estate’s own 3,000 trees as well as some selected and purchased from other local growers. Acri makes use of avant-garde machinery to make the EVOO it sells direct, but also produces vegetables and vegetable preserves, selling them online, as well as exporting to Europe and America.
