Frantoio Oleario Congedi
For almost a century, Oleificio Congedi has handed down its extra virgin olive oil tradition, from generation to generation. It bottles oil from olives grown on its 170 trees in the mild Salento climate, in a favourable geographic position between the Adriatic and Ionian Sea, and also uses olives from other carefully selected producers. The drupes are processed in its own olive mill, using marble millstones. The farm also markets a line of vegetable pâtés and marinated olives, exporting to South Africa, Sweden, the United States, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, and Germany.
