The history of Castel Ruggero dates back to ancient Roman times, but it was during the Renaissance, and thanks to the Alamanni family, that it became a thriving producer. Today Clemente Pellegrini, great-grandson of Folco Pecchioli (who bought the property in the 1920s), is at the helm, overseeing 3,300 olive trees across 150 hectares of land.
