Pomì

Description

It all began in 1982, when a Parma company specialized in tomato processing since the early 1900s, was the first in the world to use new production technologies to package Pomì tomato purée. In 2007 the Pomì brand and its production plants were bought by Boschi Food & Beverage, a company processing tomatoes, with stakes held by Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro and Consorzio Interregionale Ortofrutticoli CIO. The merger arrived in 2012. The direct relationship with over 300 farms in the provinces of Parma, Piacenza, Cremona, and Mantua, allows Pomì to control the entire chain, certifying that tomatoes are 100% Italian. The product line for Italy, in addition to classic and rustic, pulp and cubes, also includes ketchup, purée and L + tomato juice, rich in lycopene, a pigment that gives the fruit its red colour. The company is present in over 50 countries.
