Petti

Description

In 1925 Antonio Petti, an Agro Nocerino Sarnese landowner, founded his eponymous company. In the 1940s, his son Pasquale began working in the company and the name was changed to Antonio Petti e Figlio. In 1950 his wife joined the company to supervise production personally. At the end of the 1960s, Pasquale imported the Roma tomato to Italy for the first time and decided to grow it with other varieties in Tuscany, in Val di Cornia. In 1973, the company became Antonio Petti fu Pasquale Spa. The 2013, a unique line of products dedicated to the Italian market was launched. Today, in addition to the parent company (with the plants in Nocera Superiore), the group includes Italian Food Spa (Venturina, Livorno), CGA Spa and Conserveria Africana Ltd. Quality is still the key ingredient in puréed, pulp, peeled and paste products. There is also a bio range of baby plum and San Marzano tomatoes.
