Noberasco

Description

A story of hard work in the fruit industry that started in 1908, when Benedetto Noberasco began to collect and package fruit and vegetable products from the Albenga plain. Soon he established relationships with foreign countries that allowed him to import dried fruit: his famous oval box is still a classic in date packaging. Success grew and Benedetto's son Pier Luigi took over the company until 2000. During the 1950s and 1960s the number of warehouses in Italy grew to 48. Later an innovative processing system and new plant opened at Mongrassano Scalo, in the province of Cosenza. Packaging was given a facelift, then an organic line was added, and a new production site opened in Vado Ligure (Agri Food Srl). In 2013, the Noberasco product range was expanded to include a pocket version of dried fruit, made a production facility at Carcare.
