Lauretana

Description

The Italian company that produces Europe's lightest water, in Graglia (Biella). About 50 years ago, Teresio Rossello discovered an artesian spring and took a sample of its water to be analysed. The first plant was built at 850 metres above sea level, near the spring, from which the water was piped directly downhill in stainless steel pipes. The bottling plant opened in 1965 and the water was marketed with the name Lauretana. Since then Biella's blue gold has managed to conquer the world: Europe, United States, Australia, China, Japan, Russia. The water comes in still, slightly sparkling or sparkling versions, is bottled in PET, or glass for the catering industry. A product of excellence with bottle design by Pininfarina.
