Alfredo Carrai, a great tea enthusiast and a pioneering traveller to the East, set up this company over 50 years ago although todays' brand dates back to the early 1980s. His aim was to introduce the Italian public to all the properties of this noble beverage by importing directly top versions of different varieties. Most of the teas are grown in China, India, Kenya, and Sri Lanka, followed by South America and Africa.
