La Doria

Description

La Doria opened in 1954 at Angri, the Agro Nocerino Sarnese, the heart of the "red gold" district. At the time the area was known for its intensive cultivation of San Marzano tomato, whose massive presence contributed to the development of agri-industrial production. It is still the main national hub for processing tomato preserves. Today the La Doria group is a leader in the production and marketing of products derived from tomatoes, fruit juices, ready sauces, canned pulses and pasta. In Italy it has 6 manufacturing facilities and a trading company in the UK. The brands that belong to the group, in addition to La Doria, are Bella Parma, Althea, La Romanella, Vivi G, Vivi G bio and Cook Italian.
