Giamaica Caffè

Description

Established in 1947, Torrefazione Giamaica has preserved its artisanal direct-flame roasting process over the generations. Using machinery from the 1950s, no longer available on the market, it processes 60 kilos of beans at a time and takes exactly quarter of an hour, otherwise the coffee alters and loses its special traits. The beans are then left to cool and rest for 48 hours, after which they need to be consumed relatively quickly. This coffee, available in around ten different varieties, is only available to a select clientele.
