Findus

Description

The company opened for business in 1964 at the Cisterna Latina plant, and so began the story of fine quality Italian frozen products. The market has developed and extended its range, as ever guaranteed by meticulous observation of health and hygiene regulations, and a high standard of professionalism from all associates. In 1967 Findus invented its famous cod fish fingers, followed later by Croccole, plaice filets, salmon fingers and, more recently, fish burgers. In 1975, Sofficini crispy pancakes arrived, followed in 1996 by 4 Salti and subsequently a range of pasta, risotto, vegetable, and meat dishes. The new Dolce Buongiorno includes ideal breakfast products ready in just a few minutes. In 2010 the company was purchased by Birds Eye Iglo (now the Iglo Group).
