In 1986 a group of expert farmers joined forces and founded Finagricola, a farming cooperative located in Piana del Sele (Campania). Their 300 hectares of terrain is located in an area particularly well-suited to growing fruits and vegetables, thanks to its favorable weather conditions. Here, every stage of production is carefully executed and documented, so as to guarantee product authenticity and traceability. There are several varieties of tomato and lettuce, endives, arugula, peppers, eggplant, spinach and melons, all chosen so as to offer a variety of healthy produce. There are two product lines: GranGusto and Così Com'è. The former includes bottled yellow and red datterini (dried and semi-dried) in oil, semi-dried yellow and red peppers in oil, scarola with raisins and pine nuts, as well as broccoli rabe. The latter comprises red and yellow datterini and pizzutelli tomatoes (fresh or bottled). They also produce quality extra-virgin olive oil.
