Fattorie Osella

Description

In 1952, in Caramagna Piemonte, a rural haven close to Mount Monviso, a stone's throw from the Langhe, Dario Osella and his brother Gino Tommaso opened their dairy. Over six decades dairy production has expanded but the strong point continues to be the milk procured from selected farms in the area. In the mid-1980s the agreement with Kraft Foods led to today's Mondelez Italia, to which Osella sold a part of the company, now listed in its portfolio alongside other brands. Modern technologies used in the respect of quality raw materials and age-old cheese recipes place the company in the Italian and international spotlight. The product range is extensive with the Cremosi robiola and goat cheeses; the Freschissimi primo sale and stracchino, as well as ricotta; the Piumati like Alpino Osella, one of the flagships; and Specialità, including Conte di Cavour and Alba Berbera. All tasty and wholesome, without preservatives.
