F.lli Veroni

Description

Veroni got its start in Correggio in 1925, when five brothers (owners of a grocery store) decided to enlarge their business to include the production of charcuterie. Since then this family-run business has never changed hands: Veroni they were and Veroni they remain. Today the fourth generation produces a range of Italian meats: mortadella, prosciutto, ham, coppa, pancetta and salami. Their work avails itself of the latest technology, though they still follow artisanal methods. Mortadella is their speciality, and it's offered in a huge version, a 2600 kilogram and 2.3 meter wide super-bologna that earned a place in the 1996 Guinness Book of World Records. Three lines of charcuterie are offered: Classica (which pays homage to traditional Italian meats), Selezione (Veroni's crown jewels) and Gran taglio (a selection of top-range products).
