A Neapolitan tradition for 50 years, the Rubino brothers were born into the coffee business, working alongside their father in the family bar-patisserie. The fame of their espresso coffee spread quickly outside the district and gradually their reputation grew, bringing with it ideas, including that of sharing the pleasure of Neapolitan coffee with cafés and homes worldwide. In the 1960s they grabbed the opportunity offered by new packaging techniques so thanks to the revolutionary new vacuum tin, real, traditional, Neapolitan coffee could travel anywhere. This was the goal behind Cafè do Brasil Spa (now Kimbo Spa) in 1963, which soon became one of the leading coffee businesses in Europe. Kimbo coffee became famous everywhere with a full range for home, bar and office. The company also produces coffee under the Kosè brand.
