The brand is an umbrella for over a thousand farmers and beekeepers, in Italy and around the world, who have been engaged since the 1970s in producing healthy food. No pesticides and herbicides, eco-friendly production processes that respect raw materials and processing times are the components of the Alce Nero organic range. The catalogue includes pasta, tomato purée and pulp, sauces, EVO, rice, compotes, fruit juices, flours, cereals and pulses, produced with Italian raw materials, grown by associated farmers and processed by member companies. To these we can added the fair-trade product line. The Alce Nero group has ten members: Conapi, which brings together over 600 beekeepers in Italy; La Cesenate canned food; Finoliva, controlling and processing the product contributed by the national consortium of olive growers; Brio bio fruits and vegetables; the venerable Felicetti pasta factory; Cooperativa Sin Fronteras; Chocolat Stella, quality Swiss chocolate; Pompadour infusions and tisanes; Libera Terra.
