The water bottled by Acqua Plose flows from a source set high among the mountain peaks of South Tyrol, at 1870 meters above sea level. Founded by Giuseppe Fellin in the early 1950s, the company pride themselves on their sustainable practices, using renewable energy sources so as to reduce their CO2 emissions by more than 500 tons a year. Their water boasts total dissolved solids of only 22 mg per liter. Such a low quantity means that it's particularly light and healthy. They sell still, sparkling and very sparkling water in a variety of formats (all in glass), with the utmost respect for the environment. They also produce juices made using organic fruit and teas (also organic and sold in glass bottles) available in a number of varieties (standouts include their green tea and white ginger) and finally their refreshing vintage drinks (citron cedrata, chinotto, spuma, gassosa and cola).
