In the heart of Cilento, the La Ruota pastry shop, located in Perdifumo and Agropoli, is the kingdom of Rosetta Lembo, who in 1975 decided to turn her passion for desserts and her family's gastronomic traditions into a profession. Her aim was to authentically convey the flavours and aromas of her homeland. She immediately became passionate about large leavened products, to the point of creating her own sourdough starter, the real secret "ingredient" of her panettone and colomba cakes. This is combined with manual processing, the absence of preservatives and long proving times.
