The Franzisca, a Cannonau Riserva dedicated to winemaker Giovanni Montiscis wife, hails from a small vineyard in Mamoiada, a Barbagia village known for its century-old bush-trained vines at high altitudes. The wine delivers wonderful sensations from the very first aromas: rose, dark citrus, red fruit, and an attractive earthy note. The palate is pervasive and creamy, refreshed by bright acidity and a gentle minty touch, while the finish goes all in on sapidity.
