Vivere is one of the three restaurants associated with Chicago’s long-established (from 1927) Italian Village. The restaurants share a wine cellar with an impressive range of wines from around the world and something for every budget. The venue’s very original style combines retro objects and furnishings with early-20th-century ornamentation, decorated walls and ceiling, velvet chairs and a long bar counter. A veritable melting pot of décor styles. The menu is simpler, essentially Italian in its choice of dishes and produce, with a few concessions to U.S. tastes.
