Terrace Roma

Average Price: € 60

Alessandro Altigeri has chosen to move from New York–where he managed for many years an Italian restaurant–to Key West in order to abandon the hectic professional life of the Big Apple. So a few months ago le launched Terrace Rome, the most identifiable restaurant on the island of Ernest Hemingway. Protagonists in the kitchen are two young Sicilian chefs who propose dishes not only of their region of origin. The fish is of good quality considering the fishing vocation of the islands further south of the American continent. The amatriciana and the cacio e pepe are excellent. The pasta is well cooked and well blended with excellent pecorino romano. Good service in the dining room, the wine list needs less discounted labels, there’s room for improvement in regards to the extra virgin olive oil, that’s Italian only on the label…
