The solidity of the projects curated by Francesco Mazzei is equally evident in this venue. What fine meals can be had at Radici. Minimalistic ambiance, wooden tables, very familiar and courteous service. To begin with, the delicious cicchetti (Italian-style tapas) such as aubergine croquettes or lovely spicy meatballs. From the menu we recommend the fettuccine with wild boar sauce, or the perfect Milanese schnitzel-style cutlet: generous, crisp, and tasty. The wine list is limited but well-tuned, we opted for a Rosso di Montalcino offered at a very fair price. No frills and the evening passes fast and cheerful.
