David Ranucci nails it again. After the success of his places in Milan, he successfully exported his Roman tavern format to Florida. The cuisine offers authentic flavours, starting with the fritti fried starters: zucchini flowers, rice balls and Jewish style artichokes. Among pasta dishes, a generous and delicious version of pappardelle with a long-cooked ragù certainly stands out, among the Roman specialties, potato gnocchi with amatriciana, or the typical “scottadito” fire grilled lamb chops. In combination, a selection of all-Italian wines, also offered at absolutely reasonable prices considering the city average.
