After working in the catering industry for several years, Domenica Bortolusso and Beppe Montanaro decided to set up this business in 1980, in an area that boasts some of Italy’s very best white truffles. The idea was to allow gourmets to enjoy truffle-based specialities even out of season, so they developed the first truffle pasta in the world. Since then they have come up with many other delicacies, including sauces, snacks, creams, anchovies with truffles, risottos, polenta, fresh pasta, salt and condiments, sauces, honey, fondue, fresh and dried truffles, and even pralines.
