This historic artisanal rice mill was founded in the mid-17th century. It produces two different lines: Ferron, processed with modern machinery for the mass market and local shops; and Pila Vecia, the superior range, for restaurants and delicatessens. The Pila Vecia range includes PGI and pounded Vialone Nano; normal and wholegrain Carnaroli; wholegrain Ermes and Venere rice. The Ferron range includes PGI Riso Nano Vialone Veroneese (also in an organic version), Carnaroli, Venere and Ermes rice. The company also produces flours, pastries, baked, and gluten-free goods.
