Il Vecchio Carro

Il Vecchio Carro is a farmstay situated near the sea in Nebrodi park that focuses on ‘rustic’ pork. Black Sicilian pigs are raised semi-wild on site, while their products are made without the use of additives or preservatives. The result is first-rate charcuterie of great aromatic richness, from their out-of-this-world porchetta (the house speciality) made with piglet cooked with wild local herbs to dried sausage, lard, capocollo, ham, pancetta, prosciutto, mortadella, salami, cooked sausage, zampone and cotechino.
